Noisy-melodic-whiplash Indie-Pop-Songs with fuzzy Campfire Guitars and vocal harmonies- Betty, Thom and Gerber formed their band in summer 2006 and released their self-titled Debut-EP in Spring 2008. Their catchy, yet erratic songs and their passionate gigs have earned them a growing fanbase in Switzerland and Germany. Berlin Zitty Magazine praised: “If they practise some more, they might become the new Arcade Fire.” “We are very enthusiastic about what we do”, confirms Singer/Bassplayer Betty Fischer, “we are getting better with every show we play- where will this trip end I wonder!” Thom Luz, Singer/Guitarplayer adds: “We grew together the last year, we’re like a hockey team now. Playing music with this band is my number 1 favourite thing in the world, potentially.” When asked about who is Cecilia Winter, they suddenly fall silent. “We don’t tell”, mumbles Drummer Gerber: “You know who it is, or you’ll have to find it out yourself.” In this years summer My Heart Belongs To Cecilia Winter didn’t went swimming in the lake of zurich- Thom, Betty and Gerber did better. They lived at château pouilly-sur-vingeanne, france and recorded their first album: “Our Love Will Cut Through”
